COVID-19 booking FAQ

Updated January 2022;

Here at Villa Bam we understand the uncertainty you may have around booking a holiday and we are working hard to assist you as best we can during the Covid 19 pandemic.

We are here to answer any of your questions so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Here are some general FAQ’s that may help you;

Where can I find the latest UK government guidelines?
Where can I find the latest Portuguese guidelines?
What happens if we are advised we cannot travel?

If “all but essential travel” is recommended by the FCDO or the UK/Portuguese Government impose travel restrictions/quarantine requirements we will look to defer your holiday (with no additional admin costs to pay).

What if I do not want to travel?

If advice from the FCDO has not changed and travel is permitted, your holiday will be subject to our usual booking conditions and standard cancellation charges will apply. Providing any balances due are paid, we would of course look to assist with offering your dates for re-sale to allow you to defer the holiday.

What happens if myself or a member of my party is in isolation due to experiencing virus symptoms and therefore unable to travel?

Unfortunately, you would have to cancel your holiday; our usual terms and conditions/cancellation charges will apply. Your travel insurer will be able to tell you what cover your policy provides.

My balance is due. Do I still have to pay this?

We do understand the concern and uncertainty surrounding travel restrictions, however in line with our agents booking terms and conditions, all balances must be paid when due.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO ARRANGE TRAVEL INSURANCE AT THE TIME OF YOUR BOOKING (INCLUSIVE OF CV-19 COVER).
